Get to know me!

I am an author, graphic designer, and former adjunct professor with Master’s degrees in both Graphic Communications and Evangelism and Leadership.

I am the author of People Please! Leaving the Crowd’s Approval for the Glory of One, Bible 101: Understand the Bible’s Framework from Genesis to Revelation, and has contributed to several other works.

After living as a chronic people pleaser for decades, Heather discovered the freedom that came with finding her identity only in pleasing Christ. Through her writing, Heather hopes to help other Christians turn away from living for others and place their confidence in the identity that only comes from God.

Aside from writing, I find peace and healing in nature, creating, DIY, spending time with friends and family, and watching shows and movies from which she can squeeze theological meaning. I live outside of Austin, Texas with my husband, Eric, two middle school daughters, and dog.
